Dayton is a resilient and gentle Weimaraner mix who has been through more than most dogs his age. Despite his past, he has a loving and calm demeanor, making him a wonderful companion for someone willing to give him the love and care he truly deserves. Dayton enjoys quiet walks, and lounging in the sun, and is slowly learning to trust again. With the right home, Dayton will flourish and become a loyal, loving friend. 

Dayton was rescued from a severe abuse situation where he suffered both physically and emotionally. When he first arrived at Barking Mad Animal Refuge, he was frightened and hesitant to trust anyone. Through dedicated care and gentle rehabilitation, Dayton has made significant progress. He’s now ready to leave his painful past behind and find a forever home where he can continue to heal and grow.
